BRIEF HISTORY

The Cali Paramedical College Foundation, Inc. (CPCFI) is an institution of higher learning whose existence is motivated by the philosophy of social equity and lifelong learning, especially for the marginalized sectors. Created in the year 2002 with around 200 students under the former name, Cali sa Marawi Memorial College Foundation, Inc., the CPCFI has now 3 branches: the main campus located at Moncado Kadingilan, Marawi City; the CPCFI Hospital at Quezon Ave.; and, an Outlet in Iligan City. It has modern school facilities and equipment and enjoys convenient access to 35 Institutional partners and linkages for advanced and specialized support expertise.

Composed of competent and dedicated personnel, the CPCFI operates on a standard prescribed by law. It is consistently producing professional and skilled graduates in an employment passing rate of 90%.

PHILOSOPHY


Education is a right of every citizen and the state is obliged to fulfill them with policies geared towards resolution of the society’s basic problems. With the debacle of brain drain vis-à-vis the insurmountable unemployment in the country, the government has to mobilize public and private resources to shift priorities into skill-based education needed by the global market. This strategy of economic survival shall be paralleled with the building of local industries to solve unemployment and further establish the foundation of sustainable economy by an education system that truly serves national interest.

VISION


The Cali Paramedical College Foundation, Inc. envisions a leading Islamic-integrated educational institution in the country that harnesses skill potentials, value-motivated productivity, and cause-oriented pursuits, and producing manpower with globally-competitive skill and professional competencies.

MISSION


The CPCFI is committed to establish and operate a licensed and accredited paramedical college that produces world-class manpower especially from among the marginalized sectors. It shall equip the students with lifelong learning, induced them the required knowledge, develop their potentials on sound universal values, culture them with the proper working behavior, and finally, establish their employment competitiveness.

GOALS


1. Establish a competent school system that offer medical, medical-related and relevant Baccalaureate degrees; most preferred short courses with high placement value; and as well as, basic primary and secondary education.

2.
Operate a progressive values-oriented teaching-learning community of competent, competitive, creative, and certified individuals imbued with the spirit of volunteerism and social justice.

3. Institute a program on sustainable outsourcing especially for funding assistance and create an information-communication system for human resource development and placement.

4.
Maintain an advocacy program that caters issues and concern in education and employment; and in particular, contribute for the transformation of DH-based placement into skill/professionally competent manpower supply addressing the persistent problem of DH abuses abroad.

5.
The general education outcome of CPCFI shall qualify the parameters of world-class skill and professional competencies, advance the employment & economic edge of the graduates, and finally fulfill the expected social benefits of the society in general.
